Upcoming Cold-Weather Dress Days

Upcoming Cold-Weather Dress Days

After monitoring next week’s weather forecast, we anticipate cold temperatures on Monday, February 2, through Tuesday, February 3. Therefore, we have determined that Monday and Tuesday will be Cold-Weather Dress Days. Please make note of the guidelines below to ensure that students are wearing the appropriate attire for these days. We will be reassessing temperatures for the rest of the week and will make a determination on future Cold-Weather Dress Days on Tuesday.

Attire Permitted

Students can wear long denim pants or slacks with LHP or non-LHP outerwear. All students must wear a Lands’ End uniform polo underneath their outerwear of choice. If a student chooses not to wear cold-weather attire, Lands’ End uniform items are the only acceptable option. Shoes must be closed-toe and closed-heel.

Attire Not Permitted

Wearing outerwear without a Lands’ End polo shirt underneath is NOT allowed. Non-LHP outerwear must be appropriate for school and must not contain anything offensive or political. Denim shorts, athletic shorts, sweat pants, yoga pants/leggings, joggers, pajama bottoms, or other athletic bottoms are NOT permitted. Spirit Day shirts are also NOT allowed. Flip flops, sandals, and backless shoes are NOT allowed.

We will continue to monitor the weather for the remainder of the week. Please check your email for updates. Students are only permitted to wear cold-weather dress attire on designated Cold-Weather Dress Days announced by the school. Students who are out of dress code may be subject to disciplinary consequences outlined in our student handbook.

Thank you for adhering to our school uniform guidelines.
